About The Cosmos Collection

The Cosmos (from the Greek kosmos, meaning order, harmony, and the world), another name for the entire physical universe, refers to everything in existence and reflects humanitys growing understanding of all objects and phenomena within the cosmic system.

The inspiration for this collection comes from our founder, Valentina, who seeks to share her deep personal connection to the outer reaches. Her mother, Lola, has been intrigued by space for as long as she can remember and named Valentina after Valentina Terkeshkova, the first female astronaut. Altaira, her middle name, comes from Altair, the brightest star in the Aquila constellation on the celestial equator.

Cosmos seeks to bridge the gap between the ethereal and the physically present, the visible and the beyond. What we cannot see with naked eyes encompasses the vast majority of spatial existence, and Valentina draws from these unseen and unexplored multitudes in her design. This collection aims to be contemporary, fun, unexpected, and a hint at what lies hidden in the night sky.
